1. Definitions

2.1 We provide household and commercial rubbish removal, bulky waste clearance, garden waste removal, and general waste collection services, including loading, transportation and lawful disposal or recycling of waste.

2.2 Our services do not include cleaning, dismantling of fixed structures, building works, plumbing, electrical works or any specialist trade services unless expressly agreed in writing.

2.3 We reserve the right to refuse to remove certain items, including but not limited to hazardous, explosive, toxic, clinical, biological, chemical or otherwise regulated materials, where we are not licensed or equipped to handle such waste.

3. Booking Process

3.1 Bookings can be made by telephone, email or through any booking system we make available. A booking is only confirmed when we have accepted your request and provided a confirmation of the scheduled service date and an estimate or quotation.

3.2 You must provide accurate information at the time of booking, including the type and approximate volume or weight of waste, access conditions at the site, any parking restrictions, and any items that may require special handling.

3.3 Any quotation or estimate given prior to arrival is based on the information provided by you. We reserve the right to amend the price if the actual volume, weight or nature of the waste differs from the information you supplied or if access conditions are significantly different.

3.4 We may request photographs or videos of the waste or site in order to provide a more accurate estimate. These materials will be used solely for service assessment and record-keeping.

4. Access and Site Requirements

4.1 You are responsible for ensuring that we have safe, adequate and lawful access to the site at the agreed time, including any necessary keys, codes, permissions or parking arrangements.

4.2 You must ensure that the waste to be removed is accessible, reasonably grouped together where possible, and clearly identified if only part of the waste at the site is to be taken.

4.3 If there are access limitations, including stairs, narrow walkways, lack of parking, or restricted loading areas, you must notify us at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or inability to complete the service.

4.4 If we are unable to gain access to the site at the agreed time for reasons beyond our control, we may charge a call-out or wasted journey fee, including any applicable parking or congestion charges incurred.

5. Pricing and Quotations

5.1 Prices are generally based on the volume of waste collected, weight, labour time, access conditions and disposal or recycling costs. We may also apply minimum load charges and surcharges for specific items where disposal costs are higher.

5.2 Any quotation provided prior to collection is an estimate only and is subject to revision once our team has inspected the waste and site in person. We will confirm the final price before commencing work. If you do not accept the revised price, you may cancel, subject to any applicable call-out fee.

5.3 Prices are inclusive or exclusive of VAT according to the status of the Company. Where applicable, VAT will be clearly stated on any invoice or receipt.

5.4 Additional charges may apply for: excessive dismantling or labour time beyond what is reasonably expected; difficult access; stair work above ground level; out-of-hours or urgent call-outs; or specific waste streams with higher disposal costs.

6. Payments

6.1 Payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the service date. For business customers with approved accounts, payment terms will be as stated on the invoice.

6.2 We accept payment by cash, debit card, credit card, bank transfer, or other methods we may make available. You must ensure that the person present at the site is authorised to make payment on your behalf.

6.3 We reserve the right to request partial or full payment in advance, particularly for larger jobs or where special arrangements are required.

6.4 If payment is not made in accordance with these terms, we may charge interest on the overdue amount at the statutory rate, together with any reasonable costs incurred in recovering the debt.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

7.1 You may cancel or reschedule your booking by giving us as much notice as possible. Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made via the same contact method used for booking, or as otherwise advised by us.

7.2 If you cancel more than 24 hours before the scheduled service time, no cancellation fee will normally apply, unless we have incurred specific costs on your behalf.

7.3 If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled service time, or if we arrive on site and are unable to carry out the service due to circumstances within your control, we may charge a cancellation or call-out fee to cover our time and travel costs.

7.4 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the service if we are prevented from attending due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, traffic disruption, vehicle breakdown, staff illness or safety concerns. In such cases, we will seek to rearrange the service at the earliest mutually convenient time.

8. Customer Obligations

8.1 You warrant that you are the owner of the waste, or have obtained full permission from the owner or relevant party to arrange its removal and disposal.

8.2 You are responsible for ensuring that no prohibited, illegal, hazardous or regulated materials are included in the waste, unless expressly agreed and we hold the necessary licences and facilities to handle such waste.

8.3 You must inform us of any sharp, heavy, fragile or otherwise dangerous items included in the waste that could pose a risk to our team or third parties.

8.4 You agree to provide clear instructions on what is to be removed. We accept no liability for the accidental removal or disposal of items that were not clearly separated or identified.

9. Prohibited and Hazardous Waste

9.1 Unless explicitly agreed, our services do not cover the collection or disposal of hazardous or special waste, such as asbestos, chemicals, solvents, oils, clinical waste, gas bottles, explosives, radioactive materials, or electrical items requiring specialist treatment beyond our usual facilities.

9.2 If prohibited or hazardous waste is discovered among the materials you have asked us to remove, we may refuse to collect it, separate it from the rest of the waste, or leave the site without completing the service. In such cases, you may still be liable for our attendance and any partial work carried out.

9.3 You will be responsible and liable for any costs, fines, penalties or claims arising from your inclusion of prohibited or hazardous materials in the waste without prior disclosure.

10. Waste Handling and Environmental Compliance

10.1 We operate in accordance with applicable waste management, environmental and duty of care regulations in the United Kingdom. We will only transfer waste to licensed facilities and carriers as required by law.

10.2 Upon request, we may provide documentary evidence of our registration as a waste carrier and of the facilities used for disposal or recycling, where applicable.

10.3 We will use reasonable efforts to recycle or recover materials where possible, but we do not guarantee that any particular item or proportion of waste will be recycled.

10.4 Once the waste has been removed from the site and loaded onto our vehicle, ownership passes to us or to the licensed facility to which it is delivered, unless otherwise required by law.

11. Liability and Insurance

11.1 We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing our services. However, minor scuffs or marks may occur during the removal of large or heavy items, particularly in confined spaces, which we will take reasonable steps to minimise.

11.2 We hold appropriate insurance cover for our activities. Our liability to you for any loss or damage arising from our negligence will be limited to the amount covered by our insurance and, in any event, will not exceed the total price paid or payable for the relevant service.

11.3 We will not be liable for: indirect or consequential loss; loss of profit, business, data or opportunity; any pre-existing damage at the site; or any loss arising from inaccurate information provided by you.

11.4 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Complaints and Disputes

12.1 If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, you should notify us as soon as possible, providing full details of the issue.

12.2 We will investigate complaints in good faith and seek to resolve them promptly, which may include rectification work, a partial refund, or another reasonable solution, at our discretion and subject to our legal obligations.

12.3 If a dispute cannot be resolved directly between us, the parties may consider mediation or other forms of alternative dispute resolution, without prejudice to the right to pursue court proceedings.

13. Force Majeure

13.1 We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure is due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, fire, flood, acts of terrorism, industrial disputes, road closures, or power failures.

14. Data Protection and Privacy

14.1 We will collect and process personal data about you only as necessary to provide our services, manage bookings, process payments, handle enquiries and comply with legal obligations.

14.2 We will take reasonable steps to keep your personal data secure and will not share it with third parties except where required for service delivery, legal compliance, or with your consent.

15. Variation of Terms

15.1 We may amend or update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking will apply to that service.

15.2 Any changes will be effective when published or otherwise notified to you. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

16.1 These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, or with the provision of our rubbish removal and waste collection services, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

16.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or their subject matter.

17. Severability

17.1 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable by a court or competent authority, that provision will be deemed deleted, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

18.1 These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us relating to the provision of our services and supersede any previous agreements, understandings or arrangements, whether written or oral.

18.2 No variation to these Terms and Conditions shall be effective unless agreed in writing by us.
